The Barriers Did Not Exist

Touched by madness
a distant memory
of shiny nights
and colored days

Recognition
in the first smile
leading to passion
like a speeding train

The softness envelopes me
coaxing into a human passage
all that remains
of the warm night

To be so loaded
by witnessing this jewel
immortalized
in a languid pose

The barriers
did not exist
and could not restrain
all natural instinct

Infernal succubus
dragging me deep
into the pit
of desire
