Burning All The Jewels

Society is smirking
Getting what it needs
Pretending to be something
Beyond the air it breathes

Everyone is valued
Everyone perceived
To be so very holy
Down on their knees

I look into her eyes
I look into her face
I see the primal reason
Behind the human race

Factions are forgotten
We are so human we can bleed
We try not to think about it
Where will thinking lead

A society controlled
Masking all the molds
People want what they want
The rest left in the cold

Everyone knows the rules
Playing all the fools
Your hair smells like a forest fire
Burning all the jewels
