Sailing towards the final shore
was it worth it
the life you led
to die after your last journey

I think you would say yes
because you really lived
any other life
would have been a living death

to get from here to there
sometimes rather stealthily
sometimes playfully cruel

Using your sex and your mind
to further you along
You lived
Until you died

And everybody dies
but at least you had the time
